Telecommunications Committee Update - 11/24/09
The Telecommunications Committee has been actively working to bring reliable high speed Internet service to the residents of Rindge. To date, the Committee has successfully attracted two private companies to provide wireless Internet service to the Town.
Radius North, a New Ipswich based company, offers wireless Internet service to Rindge. The company has installed antenna at the Jones Farm property on Main Street and Camp Starfish on Lake Monomonac. They intend to install a third antenna at Franklin Pierce University.

more about the service and check availability, visit their website, www.radiusnorth.com, call (603)371-0075,

Granite Connection, the wireless Internet company that came to Rindge in December of 2007, continues to serve customers within its coverage area. The company has antenna at the Cathedral of the Pines, the Meetinghouse, and the Halliday property on Hubbard Hill.

Pinetree Cable - We have been notified that as of November 30th, they will no longer be in business. The Town has contacted Fairpoint, who hopes to install DSL by the end of 2009 and Comcast, but they have not returned our calls.
Two citizens, frustrated with the lack of high speed Internet service in their neighborhoods, have taken matters into their own hands. Josh Rutenberg offers high speed Internet service to the Town Pines subdivision, off Middle Winchendon Road. Josh can be reached at 899-9697. Jared Van Dyke has begun offering high speed to residents of the Taggart Meadows subdivision, off Route 119 near the Fitzwilliam line. To learn more about these services, please contact the individuals by phone. Jared can be reached at 978-866-2079 or jcvd.wirelesshorizon@gmail.com
